Abstract
We have measured pressure vs temperature for He-3 in sintered silver b elow pressure of 20MPa and in the temperature range between 1.2 and 4. 2K. The sintered silver has pores of 280nm in diameter. We also measur ed pressure for bulk He-3 in a separate cell simultaneously. He-3 in t he sintered silver with molar volume more than 19.3 cm3 shows pressure drop less than the corresponding drop in bulk solid at the bcc-hcp tr ansformation. This means that the sample in the present sinter is not a perfect hcp crystal for molar volume more than 19.3 cm3. We report t he behavior of solid He-3 in the sinter which is different from that o f bulk solid.
