Abstract
For the first time, polycyanurate thin films are prepared by thermal deposi tion from the vapor of the bisphenol A dicyanate. The deposited films are c haracterized by AFM, infrared reflection spectroscopy and TOF-MS with respe ct to their morphology, chemical structure and thermal stability. In contra st to conventional film preparation techniques, the films are quickly produ ced and they consist of a completely reacted polymer network with improved thermal stability.
