Abstract
The self-diffusion coefficient D(s) of an atom is measured in low-dens ity bcc and hcp He-4 crystals at 1.3 - 1.7 K. It is shown that the exp erimental D(s) can be described in the frames of the vacancy quantum d iffusion. The energy gap and the energy band width of the vacancion ha ve been determined.
