Abstract
This paper presents some of the conclusions drawn from the surveying of the Reales Alcazares in Seville. It analyzes one of the residential units inte grated into the palace which was initially constructed in the Islamic perio d. Although this unit has suffered many transformations, its original struc ture can be deducted through plans and documents. Some hypotheses regarding its structure in different periods are proposed here.
