Ch. Fan et al., Adsorptive behavior of hemoglobin at a platinum electrode and its application to the determination of proteins, ANAL SCI, 16(5), 2000, pp. 463-465
The adsorptive behavior of hemoglobin at a platinum electrode is investigat
ed by employing cyclic voltammetry. On the basis of the investigations, an
electrochemical method for the determination of hemoglobin is developed. Th
is method is shown to be simple and sensitive. The detection limit can be a
s low as 1.6 nmol/L. Since the working electrode does not need to be modifi
ed and the experimental procedure is very simple, this method might be usef
ul for protein determination in the future.
