Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the possibility of a selective reduct ion process of the oxide compounds of cadmium in the presence of zinc compo unds. The performed investigation of reduction in the mixture of gases (CO + CO2), of various composition and at different temperatures allowed to det ermine the conditions in which cadmium or cadmium oxide with a small conten t of zinc can be obtained.
