Abstract
We describe a case of a 59-year-old woman who remained drowsy and developed a left hemiparesis following right temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthrocen tesis and lavage for TMJ dysfunction. CT demonstrated an extradural haemato ma. This is the first reported case of an extradural haematoma following TM J arthrocentesis.
