Abstract
We review 72 midfacial tumours managed during the 10-year period between 19
85 and 1995. We describe presenting features, sites of lesions and histolog
y, treatment regimens and outcomes, as well as the various surgical approac
hes for the resection of midfacial tumours, and their indications and contr
aindications. The choice of approach should be based on type of tumour, its
site, and extent.
