Abstract
Self-assembly of CdTe-nanoparticles and alkylammonium surfactants gives sta ble, hydrophobic surfactant-encapsulated CdTe-clusters that can be isolated as solid materials which dissolve in common organic solvents, spread at th e air-water interface, and show enhanced photochemical stability.
