Abstract
A novel microgravimetric gene sensing system has been developed using an ol igonucleotide anchored on the gold electrode of a quartz crystal microbalan ce and an Au nanoparticle modified oligonucleotide, both of which formed a sandwich-type ternary complex with the target DNA to give an amplified freq uency response.
