Abstract
One way of speeding up catalyst development could be to use methods of comb inatorial chemistry which has established itself in the last decade as an e fficient tool for the fast synthesis of a large number of organic compounds (libraries) in the pharmaceutical industry. This paper describes initial m ethodological studies which have been initiated with the aim of achieving t he fast parallel synthesis and catalytic testing of heterogeneous catalysts .
