In this paper, the aqueous polyurethane anionomer dispersion (APUAD) was sy
nthesized and the diameter of micelle of APUAD was measured by dynamic ligh
t scattering method. The results showed that the diameter of the micelle gr
eatly depends on the number of the water-soluble group on the polyurethane,
the flexibility and the hydrophobic/hydrophilic ratio of the main chain of
the polyurethane. The phase separation was observed in the micelle by TEM.
