Synthesis and structure of zeolites

This review provides general description and definition as well as basic in formation on the synthesis and structure of zeolite molecular sieves. Forma tion of zeolite structures starting from primary and secondary building uni ts is dealt with. Principles of mechanisms of zeolite synthesis, function o f organic templates in the synthesis, and possibilities of isomorphous subs titution into the siliceous framework are outlined. New trends in the zeoli te synthesis are mentioned. A review with 69 references.
