Abstract
Measurements have been made on the physicomechanical properties of cas t iron having various compositions, graphite forms, graphite-inclusion grain sizes, and structures in the metallic substrate. A two-paramete r method is proposed for monitoring the graphite form and hardness of castings made of high-strength cast iron.
