Abstract
The possibility of use of photoacoustic microscopy for nondestructive inspection of the quality of the connecting joint in bimorphic piezoel ements is shown. The test specimens contained specially created defect s of a connecting joint. Investigations showed that in all cases there was observed a change in photoacoustic signal in the area coinciding with the place of location of defects in the connecting joint and thei r form and dimensions.
