Abstract
A fuzzy value is a special type of fuzzy sets on the closed interval [0, 1] , which is a generalization of triangular-type fuzzy sets. In this note we will consider fuzzy reasoning, making use of fuzzy-valued fuzzy sets. We pr opose two methods, called Methods 1 and 2, to obtain conclusions. Each meth od contains two types of approach, denoted as the direct and indirect ones. Further we will consider relations between these approaching methods, and give numerical examples.
