Abstract
We identify a variety of areas and topics that have received relatively lit tle attention hitherto or where there are significant residual problems, fo llowing earlier researches. Questions of interest both to palaeontologists and neontologists are emphasized. They are presented in the hope of stimula ting new researches on themes presently neglected.
