Abstract
Alkyl 2-[2-cyano-2-(2-pyridinyl)ethenyl]amino-3-dimethylaminopropenoates (8 ) and (9) were transformed by heating into alkyl 2-[2-cyano-2-(2-pyridinyl) ethenyl]amino-3-[2-methoxycabonyl-4-(2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrrol-3-yl]aminoprope noates (12) and (13). Compounds (8) and (9) can be transformed in the prese nce of primary aliphatic amines into substituted pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidines (17-19).
