Abstract
A non-standard perturbative solution of the p-d model around the hoppi ng term, based on a generalized cumulant expansion, is proposed. Start ing from the expression of the irreducible single-site Green functions , the Dyson equation for the one-particle propagators is obtained. A q ualitative comparison with similar perturbative approaches is discusse d.
