Contrary to acquired arteriovenous fistulas, the congenital malformations a
re very rare. Here we report a case of congenital arteriovenous fistula for
ming a communication between the right subclavian artery to subclavian vein
. To our knowledge, there is no similar case in which an infant has been su
ccessfully operated on for cardiac failure.
