Abstract
Non-linear transport properties of interacting electrons in a quantum dot coupled to semi-infinite leads are investigated using a Master equ ation. Quantum mechanical correlations between the electrons lead to n ovel effects in the current voltage characteristics. Asymmetric conduc tance peaks occur due to asymmetries in the coupling. Negative differe ntial resistances related to spin selection rules are predicted.
