Abstract
The hydrogen catalytic discharge produced by a series of compounds in the p resence of Co2+ and Ni2+ ions is an important process that occurs in this c lass of reaction. In the nickel-thioglycollic acid system it has been found that the [Ni(C2H3O2S)(2)(NH3)(H2O)](o) complex is formed. This complex pro duces catalytic waves and behaves similarly to Co-mercaptobenzothiazole and Ni-mercaptobenzothiazole system.
