Pulmonary manifestations in sarcoidosis vary, ranging from asymptomatic che
st radiographic abnormalities to progressive destruction of lung parenchyma
with respiratory insufficiency. We describe a case of sarcoidosis in a pat
ient with bilateral hydropneumothorax, parenchyma infiltrates, and respirat
ory insufficiency. Hydropneumothorax is extremely rare, acid to our knowled
ge only two cases have been reported.
