Abstract
:Synthesis of new 5-alkyl-8-quinolinol was described in order to obtain sub stituted copper 8-hydroxyquinolinate more soluble in organic solvents than unsubstituted one. The synthesis of copper complex is described and their s olubility investigated in different solvents.
