Films of polyaniline (PANI) have been prepared using laser-assisted deposit
ion (LAD), The morphology of these films has been examined using low-angle
X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy
, The films exhibit dense packing and better ordering of polymer strands as
compared with films prepared using electrochemical deposition, The sheet r
esistance has been measured by the four-probe method and decreases with inc
reasing temperature. The films exhibit better conductivity in the morpholog
ically ordered state, Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
