Abstract
Tetravalent Zr4+ ion was directly demonstrated to migrate in zirconium oxid e phosphate(Zr2O(PO4)(2)) solid in which pentavalent phosphorus ion forms P O43- unit with bonding strongly to counter four oxygen ions, resulting in a released circumstance for the rest of the constituent tetravalent ion, Zr4 +, to migrate.
