Abstract
Dual electron injection phenomenon observed for the first time in dithiocya nato bis(4,4'-dicarboxy-2,2'-biquinoline)-ruthenium(II) when anchored to na nocrystalline TiO2 film indicates an ultrafast rate of electron injection i nto the conduction band of TiO2 which is competitive to internal conversion and/or intersystem crossing between the two lowest excited MLCT states.
