Abstract
N,N,N'-tris(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,3-diamino-2-propanol (HTPPNOL) has been synt hesized and a novel tetranuclear antiferromagnetic iron(III) complex, conta ining bridging acetate, ore, and alkoxo groups was characterized by X-ray c rystallography, infrared, electronic, and Mossbauer spectroscopies and magn etic susceptibility measurements.
