Abstract
Microwave type III bursts and microwave spikes superimposed on solar bursts observed by Beijing Astronomical Observatory (BAO) are studied in this pap er. The bursts and spikes are closely related and together they make up fin e structure clusters; but the time resolution of the instrument plays an im portant role in their relation.
