Abstract
A new method with the use of Lambert W Function is presented to solve appar ent conductivity and apparent dielectric constant in electromagnetic high f requency electromagnetic well logging. Theoretical analysis and numerical e xperiment show that this method has higher precision and calculating effici ency than traditional approach, in which it is necessary to solve complicat ed non-linear equation system. Compared to Chart method, this method needn' t pre-calculate a lot of charts while it has higher precision.
