Abstract
Recent decisions on the meaning of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 have mea nt that the scope of the Act's two main offences, those contained in sectio ns 1 and 14 of the Act is unclear. This piece argues that the law is in nee d of reform if it is to deliver its stated objectives.
