Abstract
We give a class of exact spherically symmetric solutions for the Einst ein-scalar field system. The solutions may be interpreted as inhomogen eous dynamical scalar field cosmologies. The spacetimes have a timelik e conformal Killing vector field and are asymptotically conformally ha t. They also have black- or white-hole-like regions containing trapped surfaces. The properties of the apparent horizons are described in de tail.
