Abstract
A programmable hardware system developed for a recent class of nonlinear hy brid filters called order statistics-rational hybrid filters (OSRHFs) is pr esented. The application at hand is noise filtering in grey level images. T he proposed hardware system exploits the features of the dynamic logic fami lies which can achieve high speed and compactness, while keeping the power dissipation very low.
