Abstract
Four zoeal, the megalopal and the first crab stage are described and illust rated for Placetron wosnessenskii Schalfeew (Hapalogastrinae). Morphologica l differences found in some of the developmental sequences between members of the two subfamilies of the Lithodidae are reviewed.
