Abstract
Enhancement of the metastable zone width in ammonium dihydrogen ortho phosp hate (ADP) was achieved by the addition of 1 mol% of the chelating agent et hylenediaminetetra acetic acid (EDTA) to ADP solution. The metastable zone width studies were conducted and the nucleation parameters were calculated from the measurements of the dependence of the metastable zone width on the cooling rate.
