Abstract
The present study is aimed to carry out some experimental studies with a vi ew to compare some of the theoretical results predicted (using SERR analysi s) with that obtained from the experiment. Experiments are performed for he xagon, channel, triangle and cross-type sections using square dies. An extr usion test rig is designed and developed for the said purpose and all extru sions are carried out using rectangular billets. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
