Abstract
The method of superposition of configurations is used to obtain accurate nb initio energy levels for the '2p hole' states of CI II. The wavefunctions are generated using the superposition-of-configurations code CIV3. Relativi stic effects are introduced by means of the Breit-Pauli approximation. Exce llent agreement with recently published experimental data is observed and v alues are reported for levels which have not been determined experimentally .
