Abstract
An experimental setup and data correction method were established for the m easurements of elastic scattering cross-sections for neutrons of tens of Me V at TIARA facility of JAERI. Data can be obtained for 25 laboratory angles between 2.6 degrees and 53.0 degrees by utilizing a Li-7(p,n) quasi-monoen ergetic neutron source and a time-of-flight method (TOF). Data correction f or the effects of inelastic neutrons and a finite sample size is done using the LA 150 data. Typical results of neutron elastic scattering are present ed as well as the experimental and data correction methods. (C) 2000 Elsevi er Science B.V. All rights reserved.
