Abstract
The FELICITA I FEL is installed in the 1.5 GeV low emittance storage ring D ELTA at the University of Dortmund. This paper will briefly review the expe rimental set-up of the FEL, the operating facility and will report the resu lts from the first lasing of the device in the visible regime.
