Abstract
An experiment was conducted on the wetlands during 1990-91 and 1991-92 to assess the manurial value of organic wastes, viz. banana waste, bi o-digested slurry, subabool, neem leaves, palmyrah leaves and Cassia n igricans, to rice (Oryza sativa L.) under saline soil conditions. Sign ificant yield increase of 4.9-9.9 q/ha was observed due to incorporati on of various organic wastes as compared to the control.
