Abstract
The AC magnetic susceptibility of a single crystal of UPt3 has been measure d at 19 Hz in the millikelvin temperature regime using a DC SQUID, The samp le was cooled by a dilution refrigerator whose base temperature was 6 mK. T he variation of the susceptibility below 150 mK was less than 0.3% of the d iamagnetic change at the superconducting transition. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scie nce B.V. All rights reserved.
