We have studied the AC susceptibility of Sr-2 RuO4. We detected a peculiar
feature near H-c2 for H(dc parallel to)ab-plane, which is correlated with t
he in-plane H-c2 anisotropy. Both this feature and the magnitude of H-c2 an
isotropy are severely suppressed with the held misalignment of less than 1
degrees. This fact supports that a new superconducting state with a line-no
de gap exists at higher fields near H-c2. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. Al
