Abstract
The vortex states in the disordered films of granular In and amorphous MoxS i1-x have been studied. For a thick In film convincing evidence for the vor tex-glass transition (VGT) has been obtained from both DC and AC resistivit ies in a certain field range, while for a thick MoxSi1-x film critical beha vior for the VGT has been observed only in DC measurements. This suggests t hat the strength and/or structure of pinning centers may play an important role in the critical behavior of the VGT. We will also show that the phase diagram is drastically altered for a thin him. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B. V. All rights reserved.
