Abstract
We present results of Raman scattering experiments in differently doped Bi2 Sr2(CaxY1-x)Cu2O8+delta (Bi-2212) single crystals. Below T-c the spectra sh ow pair-breaking features in the whole doping range reflecting a d(x2+y2) o rder parameter. In the normal state between T-c and T* similar or equal to 200 K we find signatures for a pseudogap in B-2g symmetry which disappear a bove optimal doping. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
