Abstract
We present results for the in-plane resistivity as a function of temperatur e for clean single-crystal samples of BSCCO-2212 in applied magnetic fields above 0.5 T. Several fixed angles between the magnetic field and the cryst al c-axis were studied. The data were analysed in terms of the vortex-glass (VG) model, as suggested by previous experimental studies. Several feature s of the data were found to be inconsistent with the VG scenario. Recent th eoretical studies have challenged the VG interpretation, and these are disc ussed in terms of our data.
