Abstract
We analyze the processes <(gamma)over right arrow>+p-->rho(o)pi(+)n at low momentum transfer focusing on the possibility of the production of an exoti c J(PC) = 1(-+) meson state. In particular we discuss polarization observab les and conclude that linear photon polarization is instrumental for separa ting the exotic wave.
