Abstract
Local seismicity data, recorded in the framework of the ECORS Arzacq-P yrenees project, allows clarification of the seismicity in the western part of the Pyrenean Range. The seismic zone, included in a 20 km EW by 20 km depth band is situated to the north of the Axial Zone, and co ntinues westward to reach the Nappe des Marbres. The study of nine foc al mechanisms, putting in evidence normal and inverse accidents, confi rms the stress field complexity.
