Abstract
Allylic alcohols undergo an efficient process of diastereoselective epoxida tion by t-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) in n-hexane solution in the presence o f catalytic amounts of mono- and bis-cyclopentadienyl titanium(IV) and zirc onium(IV) chlorides. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
