A total of 43 resonances was observed by bombarding Si-28 With 14.3 - 15.4
MeV alpha particles. Of these 26 were observed in both the elastic and inel
astic channels. A dominant angular momentum of L = 8 was assigned to most o
f the resonances based on the analysis of differential cross-sections measu
red in five keV steps at nine backward angles between 150 and 173 degrees.
Auto-correlation of the elastic excitation function yields a mean resonance
width of 20 keV.
