The cut model femoral neck prosthesis - A functional and morphological analysis

In contrast to other commonly employed models, the cut model femoral neck p rosthesis is a cementless prosthesis of comparatively small dimensions. Wit h the aim of investigating its functional integration in the femur, radiolo gical, densitometric and photoelastic analyses were carried out. The biomec hanical reaction of the bone tissue expected on the basis of the experiment al result is tested in the clinical situation.
